Survey: Using Facebook to meet people?

I am conducting a survey for an ethnography of how students use informal communication (Facebook, Myspace, SMS, etc.) to meet each other without physical contact. I noticed more fights more people on Facebook who prefer to fight with someone on the Internet. The same goes for SMS rather than having battles Talk face to face. Do you use networking sites Facebook or put people? Have you involved in a fight for other peoples facebook? Any thoughts are appreciated!

I sometimes meet people via msn / text / facebook message private, except that when I have a secret to tell, where I know I will not be as comfortable physically. I deliberately did not have facebook fighting, if there is an argument to begin with, I prefer to start by saying simply I think in person. I do not tend to get involved in the fighting Facebook unless someone says something really unfair, I just want them that he was a bit far. I hope my opinion helped.
