my g/f is hacking into my myspace account?

my g/f keeps finding out the password to my myspace account. I dont how she is doing it seeing that i have the trial version of norton 2009 and it comes with idenity safe. she says when she has the password all she does is copy and paste it into the password box. how is she doing it how do i stop her from doing it.

There are several ways she is able to do this!
Firstly, she is probably going into your cookies and viewing a page source to gain the password. The way you should fix this is (in IE) you should find “tools” in the upper right hand side of your browser, next select “delete browsing history” When prompted select “delete all” his will erase any temporary files(like cookies and passwords) that you had typed in to myspace to log on.

Another way you can (in Firefox) is again find “tools” in the top toolbar of the browser, next Select clear private data, it will basically do the exact same thing as before. Also you can have firefox “auto-clear” your private data every-time you exit the browser.

One last way you can stop this from happening is, you can go into “internet options” from ether “control panel”
or “Internet Explorer+tools” From there you can select “Browser history” and then select “Settings” you can then change the amount of time your history stays as your history!

Steps for next time!
First, “Delete browsing history/Clear private data”
Next, make sure that your “internet options >browser history/settings”
has been changed to the correct amount of time you want.
And, look into that “Auto-clear private data”

I really hope this helps and that next time she trys to steal your password she’ll have quite a challenge! Jack
