MySpace Tips: Do not do
DO NOT!
1. Three big no-nos on MySpace: Do not obscure the MySpace ad banner (or feature your own advertising banners), email, or feature inappropriate content. Each of these almost guarantee that your account is deleted.
2. While we strongly encourage using your MySpace design maximum benefit, remember that MySpace monitors the level of activity on each account. We recommend limiting your interactions to 200 or less per day to ensure that MySpace will take you for a spammer.
3. Some suggestions Graphics … Do not use a photo or busy graphic as a background for your content. An overwhelming background may distract the visitor to key points or messages within your page. Enjoy as a strong graphic and present content in a way that is not embarrassing.
4. Do not clutter MySpace page with "What are Hollywood superstar You?", quizzes and other heinous widgets are not directly speak to your audience, at least if you expect to be taken seriously as a business entity on MySpace. 5. If you're going to have your profile song on the automatic start, make sure it easy listening or a melody almost universally loved. This may be the deal breaker or not a visitor returns. I am known on several occasions to visit the page of a person based on their having a good song. I have also been called to immediately leave a profile even before the page completely loads due to the intolerable during playback.
DO!
1. Choose a catchy MySpace URL. Chances are that I do not remember your login page unique URL, then pick something that I remember, ideally using words from an existing domain to yours. Underscores are allowed. Remember when you choose a name you can not change without creating a new account!
2. Keep your current content and pleasure. Most people are visual and make a strong first printing with your design MySpace when a visitor comes to your page is important. Equally important is the strength and relevance your content, so keep the blogs and newsletters to come.
3. Choose your top 8 with care. Curiously, it is an important factor in how people receive your account. You may want to include certain organizations or groups that speak to your goal or cause. You might also consider requesting to a friend Top of exchange with someone who would favor and bring some extra traffic to your page.
4. Stay in touch with your network. We want new. We want gossip. We want the last peak. So keep us in the loop through your blog, newsletter, a friendly comment or a personal message. Remember to add your website link!
5. Remember, MySpace is "a place for friends." Be a good MySpace.
