Someone hacked my myspace, can they be tracked down and arrested?
Someone hacked my myspace, i have no idea who they are. They’re probably the same person thats been bothering me on a forum once. I have no proof that its the same person though. Anyway, today when i tried to log in to myspace, the info didn’t work, and i couldn’t get a password reset. the person deleted all of my photos, so a salute won’t work. Can they get arrested? Can the police track them down?
nope, even the government wouldn’t be able to access that information… the database is just too interconnected and cluttered to be able to track down that information.
(but even if the police could, unless it’s for anything under a mass theft or muder, they won’t.)
i must say though, it’s queer that someone would do that. do any of your friends know ur password, or does anyone close to you have a reason to want them down? it’s possible there was just a temporary corruption in the site’s data. try ur account again later
